The Luther adventure
Luther's is a family owned and operated boat rental business on the Destin Harbor. We rent 20, 24 and 28 foot pontoon boats, Yamaha WaveRunners, kayaks and paddleboards — five minutes from Crab Island.
Whether you want to enjoy Crab Island, fish in the luckiest fishing village's water, look for dolphins in the Choctawhatchee Bay, or just cruise along the Emerald Coast's prettiest waters — we've got you covered.
We cater to Destin, Fort Walton Beach, 30A, Santa Rosa Beach, Miramar Beach, Grayton Beach and Navarre Beach.

Five minutes from our dock
An underwater boating and party island on the north side of the Destin bridge. From April to October you'll see anywhere from 10 to 200 boats anchored in two to ten feet of water. Get there early for a good, safe spot.
Out on the bay
There's plenty of wildlife along the coastline. Overhead you might find pelicans, osprey, egrets, great blue herons, hawks — even bald eagles. In the water: bottlenose dolphins, sea turtles, blue crabs, rays, an abundance of fish, and if you're lucky, a manatee.
Pack the boat
A cooler with food and drinks (ice is sold on site), photo ID, a credit card, a fully-charged phone, sunscreen, towels and sunglasses. Bring a Bluetooth device for the stereo, water toys and floats, and your fishing gear with a Florida saltwater license.
Pets are welcome on the pontoons — just protect the seats with a towel.
Good to know
The primary driver must be at least 18, with a valid ID, cell phone and credit card. If you were born on or after January 1, 1988, bring a boater's safety card — there's an online option if you need one.
Choctawhatchee Bay, Santa Rosa Sound and the inland bayous and waterways of Okaloosa County. Pontoons and WaveRunners don't go into the Gulf or the East Pass.
Summer books up, sometimes weeks ahead. In spring and fall there's usually availability, but reserve a week early. In the off-season it's best to call first.
